Launch Dutch Design Desk Istanbul
Over 300 Turkish and Dutch guests witnessed the launch of the Dutch Design Desk Istanbul at Palais de Hollande on May 23, 2012. Vice prime minister of the Netherlands, Maxime Verhagen, together with head of the Business Delegation, Victor van der Chijs, unveiled the official logo of the Dutch Design Desk Istanbul during a grand reception held at the Dutch Consulate-General.

Dutch Design Desk Istanbul aims to be the first port of call for Dutch designers and design companies aiming to enter the Turkish market, and for Turkish parties interested in collaborating with Dutch designers. Its services include tailored matchmaking, a knowledge bank, advisory services, presentation and networking. The Dutch Design Desk Istanbul is located in the heart of Istanbul’s design, fashion and architecture district, in Fulya, at The Building Information Centre (YEM). Dutch Design Desk Istanbul is managed by Nurten Mericer.
